Nancy (Leichsenring) Markeloff - 02-02-2015
I've been enjoying exploring the ORHS66 web site. Â I thought you might possibly be interested in this link:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/amse/8517082646/sizes/o/in/photostream/
(if you do not know how to copy and paste this link into your browser, see 'Offsite Links - Ardis...')
It shows a map made from grocery bags by my mother, Ardis, back in 1945 when she and Dad lived in a flat-top house on N. Seneca Rd. Â The map hung on the living room wall there and shows many of the town's landmarks of the time. Â It's now in the possession of the American Museum of Science and Energy and, I'm told by assistant director Ken Maye, will one day be put on display in the museum's flat-top house exhibit. Â Both my parents passed away in the spring of 2014.
Looking forward to our 50th class reunion!
All best,
Nancy (Leichsenring) Markeloff Robb Unger - 09-09-2014
Hello to all. I hope everyone is enjoying retirement and the huge SSecurity payments we receive as much as we do. Â Ha!
Still married to Kathy, 40 years now, my stabilizing force in life. We are in the same house 40 years now! I am really proud of our three kids and 7 grandchildren, all here in Knoxville. We stay busy with boat, related projects, Â garden, and of course grandchildren.
Call me anytime, I always need an excuse to drink a beer! Janet Jarrett Creel - 10-15-2013

Enclosed is a listing of our classmates that we have been unsuccessful in finding so if any of you have any contact information for any of those listed below we sure would appreciate your either putting the information on the website or contacting the Administrator, Moderator or anyone on the Reunion page.

I really appreciate this web page and was saddened to see those that we have lost. Â Please continue to update. Â It was great to see some of those I Â have missed so long. Lois Harris Thurston - 11-10-2012
Hi old friends. Â I remember you all. Â However, way back then, my family moved away to Indiana and I was unable to graduate from ORHS in 1966 (booo!!). Â If you remember me, shoot me an email or look me up on Facebook under Lois Thurston. Â I saw the news about the reunion last year but sadly wasn't able to come. Lynne Whitaker Gaissert - 09-21-2012
I'm late with this announcement, but it's a BIG one!! On May 12th, 2012, a sweet baby boy who was named Evan Rainier Braley made me a first-time Grammie!!. He is the son of my youngest daughter, Melanie, and her husband, Brian Braley. Needless to say, I am over the moon about him! He lives an hour away so I get to see him every week.
If any of you are on Facebook, I am also, and you can see pictures of Evan all over the place! james r waddle jr - 06-22-2012
hi old friends of 66 remember the good old day!!! Brenda Markland Knoch - 01-01-2012
Happy New Year to all classmates. May your 2012 be richly blessed!
Brenda and Earl Gail (Neal) Litton - 09-26-2011
I missed the reunion. I have always used Gail as my first name. Perhaps that is why you were unable to locate me. My contact info is now located in Contact Classmates. Thanks so much for providing this site. Gail Litton Lynne Whitaker Gaissert - 08-15-2011
Have so enjoyed perusing all the photos posted from the 45th reunion! Thanks to all who contributed and made it such a success....I hope to get to the next one (or whenever there may be a future gathering). Some of you look exactly the same, others I had to take a second look-see, but everyone looked great and like they were having a ball catching up on life!
My new hip is doing great and I cannot believe what a difference! I had so much pain going on, including knee and back pain, and now that has all been relieved with the new hip....who knew? I'm so thankful to know that I'm not falling completely apart!! As fall weather approaches I am anxious to get back on the walking/hiking trails around here and really give it a test drive...I have missed being able to exercise these past couple of years.
Take care all of you....and thanks for the memories! Brenda Markland Knoch - 07-31-2011
So sad to hear about the passing of Bill Muenzer. I went to Elm Grove with him. I had not talked with him in many years but did this spring regarding the 45th Reunion. He was so hoping he would be able to attend. Thank you, Bill for the many years of memories. David Francis - 07-08-2011

Thank you so much, Lynn and Hoyt, Sandra , Brenda, Liz and the others that organized our reunion last weekend. Â It was great seeing everyone and visiting. Â Great to meet spouses of classmates. Â What a wonderful weekend and look forward to our next meeting. Â If anyone is traveling through the Lake Country in Middle Georgia, please give us a call and come visit. Â We have a big front door.
Our best to each of you and also to those that were not there. Â Still hope to see Cheryl Faloon and Marie Nail one of these days; along with Linda Miller.

Back in Chattanooga, thinking of the past weekend and OMG, crashing your Class of 66 45th reunion. Â I can't believe Susie made me do that!! Â I just want to say that I have never felt so welcomed and so loved in a long time! Â Hoyt and Lynn, I love you both very much and can't believe that I finally got to hug you both. Â You and your committee did an incredible job of the entire weekend. Â It is refreshing to discover that somethings never change. Â After, I don't know, so many years (too many to count)...Roll Wildcats Roll!!
