Rodger Simcox - 12-07-2009
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas from Myrtle Beach.
Bick Marshall - 12-07-2009
I have always felt fortunate to have grown up in OR and been your classmate.
Best Wishes-
Sara Sensenbach - 12-07-2009
Holiday Greetings from Ponte Vedra, FL where my husband, Tom Joseph, and I have lived for the last 22 years.  We are both retired, playing lots of golf, and traveling around in our motorhome.  Our plan eventually is to spend 3 months  in Knoxville during the Fall - still miss the Fall colors and especially that BIG ORANGE!!!!
Janie McCowan (Overly) - 12-07-2009
Happy Holidays everyone!  I work at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Program Management, and I'm in my 40th year at the plants managing various projects.  I travel often for my job in International Safeguards and have traveled for several years to the Department of Energy in D.C.

We live in west Knoxville, and we have two sons, one grand-daughter and two grandsons who all live in the Knoxville area.

I wish all of you a most wonderful Christmas and New Year!

Sincerely,
Janie

Wishing everyone a happy holiday season

Nancy, thanks for sending out the reminder about the website. My husband and are are raising his three grandsons  - 9,7, & 6  - so I may never get to join those of you who have gotten to retire. I'll still be harrassing 7th graders to learn math here at Jefferson - now Jefferson Middle School in O.R.
Merry Christmas to all and a happy 2010!
P.S. If you haven't gotten Carol Varnadore A.'s book Elf on the Shelf for your grnadchildren, I highly recommend it. My boys love loooking for Elf every morning.
Emily Pierce Savage - 12-07-2009
This has been an exciting year for me.  I retired from Sears Holdings Corp after 39 years of processing payroll and doing benefits and relocation and garnishments and the Help Desk function (it is really interesting trying to interpert into 'IT speak' issues that users have!) and whatever other HR jobs needed to be done.  It is nice not to have to worry about 300,000 paychecks and all that could be wrong!!!

I have wonderful friends and am keeping VERY busy.  I am never home (in Grayson, Ga)! I am spending more time in OR now.  My Mom (85 years old) has Alheimziers.  She is still living at home, but requires 24 hours care.  My brothes and I split the nights and weekend care.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Pam BABB Gable - 12-07-2009
Hoping for all of you a blessed Christmas and Happy Hannakah !   We are still living on the lake in Greensboro, Ga. after living in Atlanta for a gazillion years.  Our oldest daughter and family shared Thanksgiving with us and our youngest daughter will be home with her husband at Christmas.  I hope for each of you a time of love and enjoying your family and friends during this beautiful holy season - this is why we celebrate - LIFE-  not the wrapped gifts.
A prosperous New Year to all  with love and hugs- Pam

Hi everybody,
As for me. I'm on my second marriage to the second Pat. Keep it simple. 14 years this time going on 14 to the second power. I've been retired from banking for 2 years and enjoy it 100%. Full time retired. I fish, hunt, work out every day, work in the yard, do Bible study, Treasurer of the Rotary Club, sing in the First Presbyertain Church choi, follow the Volunteers online, and socialize at the drop of a hat. I even preached a sermon in my church last year - Who would have thunk it? But don't get me wrong - I enjoy my Tennessee sour mash whiskey as much as ever. I don't see that as a conflict. We lost our mother, Ann Hodnett, November, 2009 and it was good to see Liz Robinson and Sandra Evans at the visitation at First Baptist in O.R. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all you Wildcats. Life is Good. Like what you do and do what you like.

Hope everyone has a good holiday - I am still in California trying to get Arnold to legalize prostitution and pot to balance the state budgets!  LOL!  Seriously, my best wishes and thoughts to each of you during this holiday and throughout the coming year.
Gail Stafford Jue - 12-06-2009
I am delighted to find out about this website.
My home is in Savannah, Ga and I am a retired English teacher.
I'm looking forward to hearing from my old friends.
Michael John Thompson - 12-06-2009
Merry Christmas to everyone.  Chris and I are still on the farm in White Pine, Tn.  I have no plans to retire.  Chris always says that 50 years or so from now, she will find me in one of my customers' rose garden.
We wish each of you a new year filled with joy, peace, hope, and love.

My best wishes for a blessed Christmas and 2010. I have been traveling all over the country for since late September signing 'The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition,' which I wrote with my eldest twin daughter about the elf who comes to act as Santa's eyes and ears. The travel is brutal but the people are fabulous. I LOVE to see the grins on the faces of those kids.  On the home front, I'm expecting the birth of my third grandchild any day now. Can't Wait.  Hugs to all you Wildcate!

Merry Christmas to every one and many blessings for the New Year. Still in OR and hope to travel a little next year when I get SS.  It will probably take me to Clinton. As we loose classmates each year, those of you who remain become more dear to me, so keep in touch and write us all a little message for the Holiday
Pamela Babb Gable - 08-16-2009
Finally, dropping in on the website.  This is great.  Sorry that I missed the great 60th BD last year.  Our youngest daughter was getting married.  I hope to drop in more often to read the message board and reply. Best to all of you and I agree with the comments that we had a euphoric place to live and grow - better than Leave it To Beaver.
Hugs - Pam
