I did not know that Evelyn had died on 5-19-09 from cancer until just last night. She had been the bookkeeper at Woodland School for many years and I read where they had a new person in that position, but just assumed that Evelyn had retired after her illness. I didn't know her well in school but I remember some pretty silly giggling going on in a class...I think it was Mr. Fowler's Spanish. She sat in front of me and Bill Freels behind. Very quiet, but always friendly. A great animal lover. May she soar with the angels.
