I was so sad to hear about Mrs. Bobbie Smith passing away this week. She lived a long wonderful life, I'm sure. All our lives are better because we had her in them! She will be missed. Ann Dickey, I thought of you right away, I know you were particularly close with her and had kept in touch with her. I'm sorry for the loss of your friend.

She was so much FUN! When she came to our more recent class reunions, not only did she still remember me, but she even recalled the dog our family had when I was in elementary school. Just more to show how amazing she was!

Thanks so much, Connie.   What a sweet memory.    It was so long ago  - and I think of seventh through ninth grade as so difficult for a teacher!! - but somehow she connected with us in our individuality!     Hope to see you there.   xox ad
