Cobb James Ronald 4-7-12

Cobb, James Ronald (Ronnie) age 63 went to be with the lord Saturday April 7, 2012 at UT Medical Center of Knoxville.  He was of the Presbyterian faith, a graduate of Oak Ridge High School, studied electrical engineering at UT, served in the Navy aboard the aircraft carrier Ranger during the Viet nam War, and retired from TVA as an Instrument Mechanic Foreman.  Throughout his life he enjoyed boating, fishing, movies and lapidary.  He was a loving, devoted father and his family and friends will miss him greatly.  Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, George Hiram Cobb; mother, Pearle Stewart Sise; brother Billy Roger Cobb; and nephew, Byron Barker.  Ronnie is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Joe Griffith of Kingston; sister Dorothy Barker; grandchild, Joseph and Shelby Griffith; nieces and nephew, Sherold Kaib, Jennifer Bennett, Rose Anders and James Barker.
Funeral 8:00PM Thrsday, April 12,2012 in the Kyker Chapel.  Burial 10:00 a.m. Friday at Lenior City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00PM Thursday at the Kyker Funeral Home in Kingston.
