Married Julia Rose Anderson of Knoxville in June, 1971. Celebrating 45th anniversary in June, 2016.

As far as I am concerned I graduated with the greatest class in the history of ORHS. I loved my class but at the same time we were such a large class I never even met many of you. That is sad. So glad we get to visit one another again but I have a deep sadness for the many classmates we have lost, especially for me, Brad Strohecker. We became best friends at ETSU and his death is hard for me to accept.

Words of wisdom for my class: Be kind to everyone. Even those you may not like. I promise it will not kill you. Be humble. Treat the garbage man and the company CEO with equal respect. Have manners. This trait is badly lacking in people today. Please and thank you open a lot of doors. Be kind to our furry four legged friends. They bring unconditional love on the days we need it most. I have no more use for an animal abuse than for a child molester. Respect our environment. It's more fragile than we think. Please recycle. It's a small effort to save this planet. Look for ways to help your fellow man or woman every day. Above all love one another without judgement. Peace be with all of you. It is a great honor on my part to be a member of this great, great class. 🎉🎈🎂���
