I graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 1971 and married my husband Jim Ogul in 1969. Â After graduation, I began my Early Childhood teaching career in Tennessee, and continued teaching after moving to Maryland. Â I retired in 2010. Â
My husband worked for the U.S. Commerce Department and the Department of State managing U.S. Pavilions at World’s Fairs.  I took a ten year break from teaching to travel with him and our sons, Tim and John beginning in  Knoxville for Expo 82,  New Orleans for Expo 84, Tsukuba Japan for Expo 85,  and Vancouver, Canada for Expo 86.  It was a very exciting time!
In 2003, I became a member of Alpha Delta Kappa, an honorary international teaching organization for women educators and was recently was installed as Maryland’s President-Elect.  I hope to hear from other Alpha Delta Kappa Sisters in our graduating class. Â
We currently live in Urbana, Maryland (10 miles south of Frederick, Maryland.)
