John E. Fellers, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 6th, 2025. He was born on May 2nd, 1948, in Oak Ridge, TN. John attended Oak Ridge High School, graduating in 1966. He then served his county as a member of the U.S. Navy, soon marrying his wife, Johnnie Hensley. John served as an electrician at K25 for nearly 40 years. Aside from being a dedicated worker and loving husband, he enjoyed time with his 3 children and later 7 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Jesse Fellers. John is survived by wife Johnnie of nearly 56 years, and children Michael (Shellie) Fellers of Oak Ridge, TN; Lori (Curt) Thompson of Nashville, TN; Joe (Tricia) Fellers of Knoxville, TN. His grandchildren include Josie and Olivia, Christian and Brennen, Savannah, Will and Wyatt. Survivors also include brothers Henry and Bill Fellers, as well as sister Mary Lou Yoder.

The family will receive friends between the hours 5:00pm - 7:00pm on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Mott-McKamey Funeral Home in Oak Ridge. Funeral service will follow visitation in the chapel of the funeral home.
