Thanks for reaching out and contacting us. Even though I have a home in West Knoxville, and a daughter and three grandchildren in Oak Ridge, I live most of the time in China.





What was it like for you growing up in OR? The memories are a blur, probably because I never knew what I was doing and wanted to forget that time and move on. I know there were some great experiences and friendships, but when I left Oak Ridge I just felt acutely unprepared for what followed.

What have you done since graduation in 1966

Education: 2 years at UT, flunked out, 4 years in Navy (air patrol in Viet Nam era), degree in Philosophy from Univ. of California, Master’s degree in Theology.

Career: Starting and running 5 companies in China and Hongkong.

Family: Married, two daughters and seven grandchildren

Travel: Extensively in China and East and Central Asia. Over 220 transpacific flights.
