Kristen Ann Clary, 64, of Morristown, passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, surrounded by her children.
She taught at Lincoln Elementary for over 30 years; a very creative and talented artist with a kind soul and generous heart. She gave everything she had in everything she did especially the last six months in her battle with cancer. She never gave up; facing this battle head on and fought with all her might.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Mauny and Myrtle Jelf; and a nephew, Brett Mayes.
She is survived by her children, Ashley (David) Long, Preston (Raven) Clary, and Charles Clary and significant other, Katie Stringer; grandchildren, Taylor and Bradyn Long and Halie and Piper Clary; sisters, Mary (Phillip) Mayes and Sylvia Hurst; niece, Gretchen Sutton; nephews, Austin Mayes and Scott Hurst; and special friends, “The Bangle Sisters” Debbie Henry and Paula Cox.
A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Noes Chapel United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lincoln Elementary School or Foundation for a Smoke free America, 8117 W. Manchester Ave., No. 500, Blaye Del Rey, CA 90293.
