Bio:

           Berry College: graduated 1970 BA in Chemistry, BA in Mathematics

           University of TN, Knoxville: 1974 MS in Mathematics

           Middle TN State University: 1986 MS in Computer Science



Divorced with two children: Heather (Chemical Engineer) and Amy (Certified Registered Nurse Anethesis) and 4 grandaughters



Following College, I married and taught at high schools in South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee and finished my teaching career at Tn State University  for the few years while my girls were young.  In 1986 I was divorced and was hired by the Martin Marietta contractor at ORNL in the Work for Others program with the Naval Airforce doing computer architecture planning and as the group leader of other computer scientists working with the Naval Airforce.  In 1989 and the girls were in their teens,  I moved over to the Environmental Management program to decrease the amount of travel required by my work. In 1995, I moved into a Federal position to perform the coordination and negotiating role for DOE with EPA and the Tn. Department of Environment and Conservation.   I remain actively working still in this same role of supporting the cleanup program associated with the 3 party Federal Facility Agreement for the Oak Ridge NPL Site.
