Nageotte Pat 2016
I was born in Meadville, PA. We moved to Oak Ridge during Christmas break of 1959. I attended St. Mary's School for the last half of the 6th grade through the 8th and then to Jefferson Junior High. After graduation from ORHS, I attended ETSU with a major in English. After college, I taught at 5th grade at St. Mary's for 2 years. I went to Anderson County Schools as a librarian at Norris HIgh School. I stayed until Norris and Lake City High Schools were consolidated into Anderson County High School. I was librarian at ACHS for 18 years and finished my librarian career at Clinton High School. I finally retired in 2011. In the mean time, I received my Master's Degree from UT, and Ed. S. from TTU. I was honored to be selected a Stokely Fellow at UT in 1988. I now stay busy with church activities in Clinton, volunteering at the Clinton Public LIbrary and the Museum of Appalachia. I have a niece and nephew and my nephew has two daughters (great nieces) who love to keep me busy! I am looking forward to renewing friendships at our 50th Reunion.
