Noggle Tom & Candice Jensen 2016


1)  Education:  Undergraduate & graduate school at Univ. of Illinois.

2) Career:  Worked in High Energy Physics & Nuclear Physics with several
experiments & detectors at Fermilab, CERN, Brookhaven, and Berkeley.  Also
worked at Lucasfilm, Pixar, and Logitech.  Currently an independent consultant.
Received a Technical Academy Award for work at Lucasfilm for 'pioneering work
on the development of laser scanner technology for motion picture special effects'.

My wife has worked in the craft industry for over 30 years and has written
~17 books on knitting and crochet.  She is currently executive producer
of a PBS TV show 'Knit and Crochet Now' which is in its 10th season.

I know nothing about knitting and crochet and she knows nothing about
electronics or esoteric physics so we get along pretty well.

3) Family:  2 kids and 2 grandkids.

4) Travel:  Lived in Germany for a year & speak semi-fluent German.
Traveled extensively for work although I have yet to make it to Antarctica!

5) Do you have any words of wisdom to share with us in our senior years (we certainly need them):  Well, I think it's too late to apply any 'words of
wisdom' now and I wouldn't have heeded them when I was younger anyway!
