US Air Force (civil service) - 1974-1977 - Auditor

Union Carbide, Martin Marietta, Lockheed Martin, and Babcock & Wilcox - 1977-2012 - Various Management & support roles at the Y-12 Plant

Retired in 2012 with 35 years of service



Family Life:

Married Judith Ann Green from Knoxville in 1969 - my college sweetheart and soulmate

Daughter: Jacqueline Michelle Smail lives in Stuart, FL. Grandson: Theo, Age 8

Son: Brian Edward Tyl lives in Seattle, WA; granddaughters: Mayze, age 9, & Daphne, Age 6



Retirement Life:

Cruises to Europe and Alaska

Spending winter months in Florida (Jensen Beach & Palm City)

Spending summer months in Seattle, WA

Enjoying cross-country traveling to visit National Parks, historic sites, Baseball Parks, & Museums



Leisure Time:

Enjoy spending time riding bikes, playing tennis, and exercising to maintain good health.

Stay busy keeping up with grandkids' activities and enjoying family time.

Enjoy spring training with St. Louis Cardinals in Jupiter, FL.

Working on a bucket list item of visiting 30 Baseball Parks. I have been to 15 and going to 4 more this summer: Washington Nationals, Baltimore Orioles, Philadelphia Phillies, and Pittsburgh Pirates.
