6-2006 As I write this, I see Mrs. Ledgerwood and Ms. Turner looking over my shoulder...really puts the pressure on composing just the right autobiographical sketch. I'll try...
Have lived in the Washington DC metropolitan area for about 34 years, which has allowed me to visit with lots of friends who find their way to the Nation's Capital one way or another. recent visits with Donna Kramer Giles and Mary DePersio Hendrix remind me that we Ridgers can always pick up where we left off and continue the conversation.
Husband Jon and I have two wonderful daughters-Caitlin will be a graduate of UNC by the time of the reunion and Tayler will be a senior at Clemson University next year. At our last reunion, they were among the youngest in the crowd. Happy that Donna Kramer Giles takes on that distinctive honor this year!
I am a contract manager for Management Concepts, which is a training company for the federal government. Prior 'work experience' included teaching high school history, working for Congress and traveling for a publishing company which was where I met husband, Jon, who is an architect for the World Bank. We absolutely love to tour Washington D>C with anyone who visits so please call us when you do. We know all the in's and out's- like having a picnic on the polo grounds of the FDR museum, visiting gardens or vineyards....'whatever'...which is an ending our English teachers would never approve!
