Blackwood LLoyd 2016

I hope that this e mail comes through o k. Being totally blind for nineteen years I have learned to do a lot of things on the computer with the help of the Division of Blind Services and the Jaws program.
I left Oak Ridge after one year at Maryville College and being on crutches on and off for three years I decided a total change would be good so I moved to Florida and fell in love with a Georgia Peach and have been on a honeymoon ever since. I was the one that received his High School diploma on crutches.
I have been in  Florida for forty nine years and have lived mostly in the Cocoa Beach area but also Miami, Pensacola, Tallahassee and now retired and living about thirty minutes  east of Gainesville on a beautiful lake with my beautiful wife of forty six years. Forty six good years for me and about five or six for her.
Prior to losing my sight due to R P my wife and I were in the mortgage business and owned Equifund Mortgage in Cape Canaveral, Florida which we retired from nineteen years ago.
Our health is good and we enjoying visiting friends and our son who lives in Gulf County and is going to retire in two years where he  has been a State prison warden for years. We have a beautiful ten year old granddaughter who was named after my wife Janie.
Each year we have a 'bucket list 'and last year our goal was to publish the book 'The Rose of June' which keeps us busy.
I remember many wonderful times at Oak Ridge; the swimming pool, the blue circle, shoneys and going to all the Wildcat football games and watching the beautiful 'Mary' doing the cheerleading.
Thank you for all the hard work that you and the committee are doing for the class of 66 and have a blessed day, Lloyd Blackwood P. S.. Feel free to give my e mail and address
