Tony Award Nomination for son Levi-Letterman Monday night May 10

Thought you all might enjoy hearing that our son Levi Kreis has been nominated for a Tony Award in the category Best Featured Actor in a Broadway Musical this season. He is working in a show called "Million Dollar Quartet" which has also been nominated for a Tony as Best Musical. The musical is at the Nederlander Theatre. The Award show will be televised on June 13 on one of the major networks- CBS I think.

The show is based on an actual event, giving the historial account of the one night that Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash were all four together at Sun Studies with Sam Phillips, the man who discovered them all. The result is an impromptu jam session of 50's Rock and Roll as well as insight into the lives of each character.
The cast has scheduled appearances on Letterman this coming Monday night May 10 and the View on May 21. Levi will be the one at the piano or keyboard and plays Jerry Lee Lewis in the show.
